The main producers of Heidi mangoes today are South Africa and India, but the variety is also grown in other territories such as Reunion Island. Heidi was the last variety to be cultivated on the French island as production started in 2007.
The Heidi mango has a big size and has a succulent sweet taste, with some spice and melon aroma. The flesh is generous with little fibre. The seed is thin, providing more flesh to taste.
You can keep this mango in the less cold part of the fridge for about one week.
