Gewurztraminer is certainly the most difficult grape variety to pronounce, but despite its german sound it originates from the germanophonic Italian Tyrol, in the city of Tramin, “gewurz” meaning “aromatic”.
The terroir of this Gewurztraminer made of granite gives it a refreshing and dry expression, without giving up on the typical tropical notes of mango, lytchee, and rose. Ideal aperitif, pair it with strong cheeses or spicy food for a new experience.
