Kyoto is a new apricot variety, originates from France. A cluster of attractive, large orange-red fruits appear in late June that have an orange flesh; very juicy and have an excellent aromatic, sweet taste without sour skin.
Apricots contain various phytochemicals, such as provitamin A beta-carotene and various polyphenols. Rich in fibers, apricots are beneficial for digestive transit and contribute to colon cancer and heart disease prevention.
