This wine has a brilliant golden hue that shimmers elegantly in the glass. The bouquet reveals a harmonious fusion of ripe stone fruits, such as peach and juicy apricot, complemented by notes of citrus zest and delicate florals and a gentle touch of oak. Upon the first sip, the fruit-forward profile is impeccably balanced by a refreshing vein of minerality, a hallmark of Meursault wines that stems from the vineyard’s limestone-rich soil. As the wine evolves, it unveils a medley of pear, apple, and toasted almond flavours.
It goes well with cured white fish or salmon. Soft to semi-hard cheeses such as brie or gruyere are also excellent pairing choices.
