Peaches are native to Northwest China in that region located just next to the northern slopes of Himalaya. It was further introduced into Persia (current Iran) before being widespread in Europe. Peaches with white flesh typically are very sweet with little acidity. Bloody Peach, has an intense sweet flavor with purple skin.
Eat it raw or in a fruit salad!
