Candonga Strawberry is in high season now in Spain! It is known for its intense red colored pulp, with a firm and aromatic taste combined with a fair sugar level.
It is said that strawberry was spread around the world by birds that carried their seeds during their migrations. There were strawberries already from the Neolithic but they became subject of a real culture from the 15th century in the Americas. It is a French spy named Francois Frézier who brought large round strawberries plants from Peru and Chile in the 17th century.
Filled with vitamins, fiber, and high levels of antioxidants called polyphenols, Candonga strawberry is sodium-free, fat-free, cholesterol-free and low in calories. It is also recognized for being a good source of manganese and potassium.

Thank you soooo much for bring organic and fresh strawberries to Hong Kong! I always buy organic frozen strawberries instead to make jam, however, my children want to eat fresh strawberries as a snack. It is hard to find organic fresh strawberries in Hong Kong market. I’m so happy to see the organic fresh strawberries in cheese club with affordable price. It tastes so natural and we love the fair sugar level.
