Sémillon wine is loved for its full body, like Chardonnay, but with flavours closer to Pinot Gris or Sauvignon Blanc.
Starting with the 2016 vintage, Hubert de Boüard-de-Laforêt, a seasoned winegrower since 1956 and co-owner of Château Angelu Saint-Émilion Premier Grand Cru Classé A, as well as an oenology consultant for over 80 properties worldwide, embarked on an innovative venture. He began producing a range of varietals from his own vineyard plots under his own label, aiming to set new standards of excellence for each varietal.
The Hubert de Boüard Sémillon offers a nose with refreshing notes of lemon, green apple, and yuzu. On the palate, it is fruity, juicy, fresh, and framed by a pleasant tanginess.
This wine pairs wonderfully with seafood, shellfish, pork, veal, chicken, and dishes with cream sauces.
