Mango, Cogshall from Reunion Island, France (Sustainable Agriculture)

The mango tree originally comes from India. Its fruit was introduced to Reunion Island in 1770 from Goa.The Cogshall variety was introduced in Reunion Island about 20 years ago. Its type is fibreless, soft and juicy, with a yellow colour and sweet flavour. At maturity, it has a yellow background colour with significant crimson blush covering the skin.
