Made from a blend of pasteurised cow’s and goat’s milk, Kabernus Blue has a rich and velvety texture. It exudes a mildly lactic aroma with characteristic blue cheese notes. The flavour is bold, tangy, and slightly salty, with the goat’s milk adding a hint of earthiness and depth. The creamy consistency ensures an even distribution of its intense taste, making it easy to spread on bread or incorporate into various dishes.
To balance Kabernus Blue’s robust and piquant character, pair it with a sweet wine such as a Sauternes or a Port. The wine’s natural sweetness softens the cheese’s sharpness, creating a well-rounded and indulgent tasting experience.
