A challenging year—rainy winter, cold spring, and scorching summer—culminated in a revitalizing September rain, yielding exceptional small-batch grapes. Harvested under pristine autumn skies, it embodies concentration, balance, and a profound sense of terroir.
Deep colour, it bursts with vibrant dark fruit aromas, layered with freshness and intensity. Bold yet polished tannins frame the palate, leading to a long, robust finish marked by structure and vitality. Unlike other Ports, this vintage is aged in bottles through reduction (absence of oxygen), giving it a distinctive maturation process. It is recommended to be consumed within 48 hours of opening to preserve its complex flavours.
