This white wine hails from the sun-drenched hills of Patrimoniu, one of Corsica’s most prestigious appellations. Domaine Montemagni, a family estate rooted in tradition, produces this cuvée using Vermentinu – a grape thought to have originated in Italy and long cultivated in Corsica, where it thrives in the island’s limestone soils and sea-swept vineyards. The estate follows sustainable, low-intervention practices to craft wines that express the raw beauty and character of northern Corsica.
Menhir Blanc is a bright, elegant wine with aromas of citrus blossom, white peach, and subtle herbal notes. On the palate, it is fresh and precise, with vibrant acidity and a lightly saline finish that reflects the maritime influence of the nearby Mediterranean. This is a wine of finesse and clarity, ideal for summer dining or as a refreshing apéritif.

Pair it with L’Exception du Maquis, a Corsican cheese encrusted with native herbs. The wine’s crisp citrus profile and mineral tension elevate the cheese’s creamy, herbaceous complexity, resulting in a refined and deeply regional combination.
