Sourced from the famed Douby lieu-dit on the northern border of Morgon, this 2023 cuvée by Tano Pechard showcases the depth and muscularity that define this iconic Beaujolais Cru. In the glass, it pours a deep garnet-purple color with bright magenta highlights.
On the nose, it offers ripe black cherry, juicy plum, and a touch of kirsch, balanced by subtle dried herbs and black pepper. The palate is rich and smooth, with firm yet silky tannins, a fresh mineral finish, and classic Morgon aging potential.
Excellent alongside duck breast, country terrines, grilled pork or beef, and semi-hard mountain cheeses like Comté or Morbier.
