Chantecler apple is a large apple whose mellow yellow colour signals Golden Delicious ancestry. This French apple has a slightly flattened shape and a very characteristic golden yellow colour, a little rough, dotted with lenticels which give it a rustic appearance. Its medium-dense light yellow flesh has a sweet and sour taste and above all very aromatic.
