Jonagored Apple got its unusual name because it was a cross between Jonathan and Golden Delicious, and so the first four letters of each word were combined to give the new name.
The apples are large and cone-shaped, red-orange, slightly striped skin. Very juicy and sweet, tempered with a little tartness. You’ll love it as a healthy snack!
