Made from West Country Cheddar since 1965, in Somerset, England, Applewood captures the flavour of the British countryside.
The cheese has a delicate smoky flavour – that does not leave a burnt aftertaste – and a lovely smooth texture, all finished with a dusting of paprika, giving it a golden-amber appearance.
You can enjoy Applesmoke Cheddar as part of a cheese platter, or you can use it to add a smoky flavour to grilled sandwiches, burgers, or macaroni and cheese.
Should be stored in the refrigerator, wrapped in cheese paper.
