The legend suggests that wines from the historic town of Arbois were renowned even in Roman times. This pride in their wine heritage is mirrored in the village’s yellow and black colours, symbolizing yellow wine and the forest. Established in 1906, La Fruitière Vinicole d’Arbois was born from the vision of 26 Arboisian winemakers, determined to resist low-quality wines without clear origins. Today, this cooperative remains a testament to its rich winemaking traditions.
The robe is golden yellow, and the nose is complex and powerful, offering a unique aromatic experience with hints of honey. The palate also showcases the strength of these flavours, with typical notes of fresh walnuts, curry, and saffron.
This wine will pair perfectly with a cheese platter and more specifically cheeses such as Comté or Roquefort. It also complements spicy dishes or those accompanied by morel mushrooms.
