The Salford Rum Company commemorates the rich history, legacy, and community of Salford Docks during the late 1800s and early 1900s. In this period, Salford Docks emerged as the third-largest port in the United Kingdom, playing a significant role in the importation of Caribbean rums, fruits, and spices, among other industrial goods. Their rum undergoes a small-batch distillation process, followed by infusion with an array of fruits and spices. It is then carepiecey filtered and individually hand-bottled.
The Salford Dark Spice rum combines specially selected Caribbean rums that have undergone up to 8 years of maturation in ex-Bourbon, American white oak casks. These rums, originating from Barbados, have been expertly melded with a distinct spice blend of vanilla, coconut, burnt caramel, and cloves.
