Cheese Type: Uncooked, Unpressed soft cheese
Made in Burgundy, Baraka gets its originality both from its horseshoe shape and its name, which translates to ‘Blessing’ in Arabic. A very lucky cheese indeed!
Its flowery rind hides a rich and creamy pastreaching 70% of fat (on dry matter). Expect marked aromas of butter and mushroom.
Try it on a cheese board with biscuits, fruits and jam for a sweet and savoury experience.
To store Baraka, wrap it in cheese or parchment paper and consume it within a few weeks of purchase to enjoy it at its best.
Wine Pairing:
Red wines (Pinot Noir)
White wines (Chablis, Auxey-Duresses)
Sparkling (Blanc de Blancs)
