Brewing beer is a traditional skill that has been passed down through 6 generations at the Silly brewery. It was founded in 1850 by Marcelin Hypolite. Today Silly brewery is a reference in terms of quality. Each beer is brewed according to traditional methods with the best ingredients: pure water, unique yeast of which only the master brewer knows the secret, the best hops and quality malt.
L’Abbaye de Forest is a top-fermented abbey-style beer with refermentation in the bottle. These beers are strong, easy-drinking blondes of Belgian inspiration. L’Abbaye de Forest discreetly fragrant aroma is followed by a delicately bitter flavour. On the palate, it leaves a subtle sultana fruitiness that finishes with a very pleasant invigorating bitterness.
Enjoy this beer chilled (8°C) to reveal its piece potential. It’s the perfect accompaniment to aperitifs with friends.
Keep beer ideally at a constant temperature between 15 and 20°C. L’abbaye de forest can be kept like this for 24 months.
