Bourgogne AOC, Passetoutgrain, Maison Lejeune, 2021

This family-owned estate, tracing its heritage to 1783, resides amid the renovated buildings of the Saint Sacrement Brotherhood. For five generations, Domaine Lejeune has been passed from aunt to niece. Maison Lejeune cellar houses traditional oak fermentation vats, including the region’s oldest, with 17 white birch hoops. Maison Lejeune blends traditional winemaking methods with modern technology, aiming to create Pommard wines in the classic style, suitable for long-term cellaring

This wine offers a medium-intensity aroma, characterized by enticing notes of red fruits, a hint of spices, and a subtle smokiness. Upon sipping, you’ll be delighted by the delicate flavours of cranberry, strawberry, and cherry, creating a light, fruity, and fun palate experience. The wine’s finish is remarkably long, leaving you with a satisfying taste sensation.

Pair this wine with grilled meats or matured cheeses.
