Mezzo Panuozzo Bread is a typical type of bread made with Pizza dough! Dating back to the early 1980s, it has been invented at Pizzeria Mascolo in Gragnano, a town in the South of Naples and North of the Amalfi Coast.
The pizza dough is shaped into a sandwich bread that’s around 25-30 centimeters. For a traditional recipe, add Passata di Pomodoro, Parma Ham, pieces of tasty Mozarella and some fresh basil leaves.
