Brun de Noix is a century old cheese from the Burgundy region in France. Its name comes from the use of walnut liquor during the aging process.
Taking its striking colour from the walnut, it has a pretty shape that enchants the eye and an appealing aroma that tickles the nose. The pale yellow cheese underneath has a soft and chewy texture. Its flavours strike a perfect balance between the fresh milky taste of the cheese and the powerful nutty notes of the rind. A unique and surprising cheese that cannot be missed!
Store it in the refrigerator wrapped in its cheese paper.

The nutty notes is a bit too strong for me.

One of the highlight from my previous order! Very enjoyable cheese with a unique twist. The walnut notes add a delightful complexity
