For all your truffle lovers, I have just the product to satisfy your palate. First produced by the Bianchini Family in the Puglia region in the 1920s, Burratina is prepared as a Mozzarella. The difference is its white filled paste gets some pieces of cream inside called stracciatelle. Now, this Truffle Burratina has its stracciatelle sparkled with Black Truffle fragments. Soft, creamy, and delicate, this Burratina – smallest version of Burrata – is perfect to eat as an appetizer or on its own.
Cooking tip : I believe it’s best when cooked with fresh pasta and a simple butter sauce> But even on a cheese platter, in a Caprese sandwich, this truffle burratina is undoubtedbly going to be the star of any dish.
