The Lalande-de-Pomerol AOC, Château l’Alouette, 2023, is a plush and fruit-forward wine from one of Bordeaux’s lesser-known Right Bank appellations. With aromas of plums, black cherries, and a hint of spices, this wine is soft and round, with velvety tannins and a long finish.
This wine pairs excellently with grilled meats, roasted poultry, or mushroom dishes. Lalande-de-Pomerol is located just north of Pomerol and shares the same Merlot-dominant style, offering rich, accessible wines with great aging potential.
