Fresh pasteurised goat’s milk from the Berry area in France, Carré du Berry is surrounded by a blend of fresh herbs as peppercorns, and juniper berries. As the goats used to graze around the south Loire valley river, their milk are exceptionally rich in flavour. When the cheese is young, it is refreshing with lactic notes, it gets some aromatic and peppery flavours coming from the herbs. Aged, the cheese start getting some floral and citrus aromas with a tangy creaminess. Add some fresh figs and a sauvignon blanc with it!
