This is a very decent everyday, crowd-pleasing fizz; 90% chardonnay according to the back label. Some floral and slight sweet notes on the nose. The palate is nicely balanced, easy-drinking with notes of red fruit and a slightly unusual herbal note. The finish stays just on the right side of cloying but is surprisingly mouth-coating for the dosage of 3g/l.
