Poulet Fermier Jaune PAC Label Rouge comes from Ardèche, a region known for its clean environment and traditional farming. This free-range chicken is Label Rouge certified, meaning it is slow-grown, raised outdoors, and fed a natural, GMO-free diet. The result is a high-quality chicken with firm texture and rich flavour.

The meat has a golden skin, is juicy and tender, and offers a deep, savoury taste. It’s suitable for various cooking methods like roasting, grilling, or braising, and holds up well to both simple seasoning and richer marinades.

Pairs well with creamy Brie or bold Roquefort, and goes nicely with a crisp Chardonnay or smooth Bordeaux.

Basic cooking instructions:

Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).
Bring chicken to room temperature 30 minutes before cooking.
Pat dry and season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
Place in a roasting pan, breast side up. Add olive oil or butter on top.
Roast for about 20 minutes per 500g, or until internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).
Baste occasionally during cooking.
Let rest for 10 minutes before cutting.
