Compared to other clementines, Hernandina is a late ripening: it is usually harvested between January and mid-February. Despite being piecey ripened, Hernandina skin’s remains greenish but do not worry, the pulp of the fruit ripens earlier than the skin colour. Very juicy and sweet.
