15/20 from Bourgogne Aujourd’hui special Jura
Domaine Badoz, winemakers from father to son since 1659 in Poligny, Jura, are celebrated for their artisanal winemaking and dedication to local grape varieties. Their wines reflect the rich terroir and heritage of Jura, producing authentic reds, complex whites, and famous yellow wines.
Enjoy the exceptional Côtes du Jura AOC, Trousseau « Marnes Rouges », crafted from the indigenous “Trousseau à la Dame” grape grown in our terroir Les Grands Roussots, rich in red marl subsoil—the perfect soil for this varietal. This wine beautifully expresses a sunny vintage, resulting in a suave wine with elegant tannins.
It pairs perfectly with red meats and characterful, aged cheeses. Serve at cellar temperature, around 16 °C, to fully appreciate its complexity.
