Cheese Type: Uncooked, unpressed, soft cheese with natural rind

Made by the Fromagerie du Thouet, located in Azay-sur-Thouet in the Deux-Sèvres region, Délice à la Fleur de Sel is a small goat cheese matured with Guérande salt.
Creamy and smooth, it features fresh and floral flavours with a slight touch of acidity.

Wine Pairing:

Red wines (Valencay, Arbois)
White wines (Sancerre)

How to eat?

To enjoy the full flavour of your cheese, remember to take it out of the refrigerator one hours before eating it.

    Ditto on Paul C’s review above – it was already rather melty upon opening, and I subsequently stored it in an airtight box but it continued disintegrate/melt further. That’s OK, just a little messy, with rather strong flavours.

    This is definitely a full flavoured goats cheese. I discovered that it needs to be stored in an airtight box un the fridge, otherwise it more or less melts and the flavours become quite strong. I’m fine with that, but others may not be.
