Made by the Fromagerie du Thouet, located in Azay-sur-Thouet in the Deux-Sèvres region, Délice à la Fleur de Sel is a small goat cheese matured with Guérande salt. Creamy and smooth, it features fresh and floral flavours with a slight touch of acidity.

The cheese melted in the fridge…

Ditto on Paul C’s review above – it was already rather melty upon opening, and I subsequently stored it in an airtight box but it continued disintegrate/melt further. That’s OK, just a little messy, with rather strong flavours.

This is definitely a full flavoured goats cheese. I discovered that it needs to be stored in an airtight box un the fridge, otherwise it more or less melts and the flavours become quite strong. I’m fine with that, but others may not be.
