Etna DOC, Buonora, Tenuta Tascante, 2021

Established in 1830 in Sclafani, Sicily, the remarkable Tasca d’Almerita winery embarked on an intriguing venture in 2007. This venture, named Tascante, emerged as a fusion of “Tasca” and “Etna,” finding its home on the Etna volcano terrain. Meticulous selection of vineyards based on soil quality, incline, and distinctive microclimate played a pivotal role in the great reputation Tascante garnerd.

The 2021 Buonora Etna Bianco displays a pale lemon hue and presents refined scents of lemon, citron, green apple, pear, grapefruit, wet stone, lemon blossom, and peach. On the palate, it boasts a medium body, vibrant acidity, and a delicate, slightly oily texture. Luscious citrus fruits intertwine with nuances of dough, gunpowder, and wet stone against a savoury backdrop.
