A wine produced on the slopes of Etna, the largest and most active volcano in Europe!
Established in 1830 in Sclafani, Sicily, the renowned Tasca d’Almerita winery embarked on an exciting venture in 2007 called Tascante. The name is a fusion of “Tasca” and “Etna,” reflecting its unique location on the volcanic terrain of Mount Etna. The meticulous selection of vineyards—based on soil quality, slope, and distinctive microclimate—has been key to Tascante’s outstanding reputation.
The 2021 Buonora Etna Bianco shows a pale lemon colour with aromas of citron, green apple, pear, grapefruit, wet stone, and peach. It has a medium body, vibrant acidity, and a delicate, slightly oily texture.
Bright citrus flavours blend with hints of bread, smoky gunpowder, and wet stone over a savoury base.
This wine pairs beautifully with shrimp and seafood and also complements Italian soft cheeses perfectly.
