The 2019 vintage earned 87–89 points from Wine Enthusiast, praised as a “spicy, structured wine” with “great intensity,” concentrated red fruits, and powerful, still-young tannins .
Traditional vinification includes manual harvest, cold maceration, and indigenous yeast fermentation, followed by 12 to 18 months of aging in used barrels . The result offers wonderful smoothness balanced with vigour, floral and spicy notes, and excellent aging potential beyond a decade . Pair with meats in sauce or local cheeses, served at 16–18°C .
