These Dried Sultanas Grape, size 9, are produced in Turkey from different varieties of seedless grapes. It was originated from the Ottoman Empire and imported to the english-speaking world afterwards. The dried grapes are dipped into potassium carbonate and olive oil to minimize the drying time and to conserve their rich flavour. Sultanas grapes are graded from 7 to 11, depending on the colour, from darkest to lightest.
