L’Héritage 1947 will surely make an impression! It is made from raw goat milk by goat cheeses’ specialist, the Fromagerie P.Jacquin & Fils located in La Vernelle in the Loire Valley region.
Its cream to light brown crust is ashy and covered with a fine white duvet. Its soft paste, ivory in colour, smooth and dense, is sprinkled with Summer truffle chunk. It is shiny and slightly creamy under the crust.
On the palate, it is a creamy and melting cheese, with a sweet taste of fresh milk, slightly caprine, perfectly balanced by the mushroomy and undergrowth flavours of the summer truffle.
Wine Pairing:
White wines (Pinot Grigio, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc)
