Made with wheat flour, butter, and almond powder, this frozen galette bakes to a golden, flaky puff pastry filled with a rich, fragrant almond cream. Each galette contains a hidden porcelain charm, and a paper crown is included to crown the king or queen of the day. This galette is generously sized to serve 6 persons.
For perfect results, bake directly from frozen: place on a baking sheet and cook at 190°C for 35 minutes. For a glossy finish, you may bake for 25 minutes, apply an egg wash, and then bake for a final 10 minutes. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving. A perfect centrepiece for a festive gathering, paired with sparkling cider or Champagne.
