Since 2016, the Distillerie L.N. MATTEI has been based in the heart of Corsica’s eastern plain, in the commune of Aléria, but the history of this heritage brand began in 1872 in Bastia.
Produced by maceration and distillation, Myrttei Rouge liqueur is a creation of Louis Napoleon Mattei, a blend of island distillates and wild Myrtle berries that scent the Corsican maquis.
