Cavaillon, France, is renowned as the Provençal capital of the European cantaloupe, lending its name to the famous “melon de Cavaillon.” When ripe, these melons feature a pale golden skin marked by bluish-green vertical stripes running from end to end. Inside, the vibrant orange flesh surrounds a central seed cavity and is bursting with sweet, syrup-like juice. A ripe Cavaillon melon is easily identified by its stem, which begins to crack and can be effortlessly pulled off. Known for its intense floral and tropical aroma, this melon boasts a notably high sugar content.
Delicious served as a starter paired with Bayonne or Serrano ham.

Gaelle Fouasse –
A nice surprise, good Melon like some other fruits is really hard to find in Asia (if you ignore the fancy Japanese costing an arm), is was sweet and enjoyable without anything to add.
