This Liqueur de Menthe Poivrée is an artisanal organic liqueur crafted by Maison 16, an independent distillery founded in 2019 by César Triouleyre in the heart of the Loire region. The liqueur is made from fresh peppermint leaves, also known as “Piperita” mint, carefully selected and hand-picked in the fertile Plaine du Forez.
The fresh, organic mint reveals an intense and pure freshness. Lightly sweetened, this liqueur is remarkably versatile.
Enjoy it well-chilled as a digestif, lengthened with sparkling water as a refreshing aperitif, or explore its potential in cocktails. Try the Menthe Fizz: 4 cl of peppermint liqueur, 2 cl of lemon juice, a dash of sugar syrup, topped with sparkling water.
