Orange, Barberina from Spain (Organic)

Barberina is a late maturing orange from the blanca or common orange group. It is very similar to Valencia Late, but has a lighter peel colour, slightly lower acids and similar sugars. It is therefore considered a better eating orange and is a good alternative to late-harvest navels. The shape is round to elongate, it is mainly seedless and has a good juice content. The tree has darker, larger leaves and a darker bark compared to Valencia Late.
