Cara Cara variety was first discovered in 1976 at the Hacienda Cara Cara in 1976 at the Hacienda Cara Cara Venezuela.
They may look like Navel oranges on the outside, but the seedless interior has a rich pink hue due to the natural presence of lycopene. Cara Cara Oranges look like a cross between a blood orange and a grapefruit. Their taste, however, is unique: very sweet with just a bit of spice.
Oranges are high in Vitamin C. Health benefits include strengthening of heart condition and overall of the immune system.
