Peter Ljungquist, a dedicated Swede with a love for traditional baking, established a small bakery in Sweden, specializing in sourdough techniques. Following a visit to his bakery, two English friends, Ian and Wendy, launched with Peter their own crispbread brand, Peter’s Yard, in the UK. Today, the business prides itself on using a 45-year-old sourdough starter for outstanding flavour and texture.
Crafted in small batches, these sourdough crackers are prepared using their distinctive sourdough starter, which undergoes a gradual 16-hour fermentation process. These delectable crackers are composed of natural ingredients, including Shipton Mill flour and organic fresh milk.
