A jewel of Mouneyrac’s orchards, the Conference Pear is cherished for its buttery flesh, delicate perfume, and mellow sweetness. With slender green-gold skin and a tender, succulent bite, it is as adaptable as it is irresistible – just as exquisite enjoyed fresh as it is baked into something warm.
Grown with devotion in sun-drenched French orchards by the fourth-generation family grower Mouneyrac, established in 1928, this pear carries a legacy in every harvest. Its skin is smooth and thin, transitioning from gentle green at picking to a soft, golden hue as it ripens, often graced with a light russeting near the stem. Within, the flesh is creamy white to pale ivory, fine-grained, tender, and generously juicy.
