Unique creation of the ‘Fromagerie des Monts du Cantal’, Petit Pierrefortais is a raw cow’s milk semi-soft cheese with a delicate fruity taste. The rind is white to greyish, slightly orange that may be dotted with yellow and red molds. The texture is reminiscent of Saint-Nectaire and it tastes milky and hazelnutty as a mountain Tomme. Its creamy texture makes it a perfect melting cheese.
