Turrón is a delicious Spanish nougat made from a mixture of honey, eggs, sugar and, perhaps most importantly of all, toasted almonds.
The classic and traditional hard turrón (or ‘Turrón Duro’) of Supreme quality, with a crunchy texture and a smell that will transport you to the Spanish city of Alicante, where this sweet treat was created in the early Middle Ages.

It’s not that different from the plastic bagged foreign nougats you might find at Wellcome or Best Mart 360, except that it has rice paper backing and a higher proportion of nuts to nougat. Get the soft version if you’re looking for something new.
