This ultra-creamy cheese is crafted from rich cow’s milk and features an edible, bloomy white rind that encases a sumptuously soft, almost flowing interior when perfectly ripe. Its flavour is deeply buttery and rich, with pronounced notes of fresh cream and cultured butter, and a subtle, savoury tang that develops as it ages.
Best enjoyed at room temperature, when its texture becomes luxuriously spoonable. Serve on a crusty baguette or with a spoon to savour its pure, unadulterated creaminess. It pairs beautifully with a glass of fruity, aromatic white Burgundy or a sparkling Crémant de Bourgogne.
