Cheese Type: Soft cheese with washed rind
Looking like a loaf of round bread at first sight, Saint-Chabret is a goat milk cheese shaped like a dome. Only produced by the Laiterie de la Voueize, Saint-Chabret is washed with brine during its maturation and develops a light bloomy rind. Its soft and tender paste offers frank aromas with the nutty and citrusy notes of the goat milk balanced by mushrooms hints. A flavourful cheese to add to your next cheese tasting!
