Made by the Fromagerie du Petit Jabron in Provence, Saint-Domnin is a fresh raw goat milk cheese made following the lactic method that gives to the cheese a light and mousse-like texture when young. This farmhouse creamy and richly flavoured cheese reveals the true character of Provence goat’s cheeses. Topped with a Lavender sprig, its natural slightly bloomy rind offers a yoghurt like taste, floral notes and an incomparable freshness. Fill up some fresh or dried apricots for a stunning pairing.
Wine Pairing:
White wine (Sancerre)
Roses (Rose d’Anjou, Rose de Provence)

For me this is fairly straight-forward, quite light, goat’s cheese. It does pair well with the fruit Millers Toasts. I didn’t see the lavender adding much.
