Its name comes from the place where it’s produced: Felino, a small village located in Italy’s central Emilia-Romagna region. The tiny town is surrounded by the green Pianura Padana valley, which is full of forests where herds of pigs were raised in the ancient past.
This salame is made with trito di banco which is a high quality cut of meat. It has a ruby red colour speckled with white bits of fat. It has a sweet and delicate aroma, a true gourmet delight.
