Like many other wines or alcoholic beverages, Sant’Antimo is the name of the monastery where Benedictin monks used to produce the wine back to the 11th century.
Grapes are vinificated in the traditional way, in stainless tanks with indigenous yeasts. It has an intense ruby colour with purple reflections.
This wine presents a soft bouquet with fruity notes and cherry flavours. Soft tannins are soft with and a good acidity for this easy pairing wine.
