Sausage, Knacks (x5, Chilled)

Knacks sausages are a classic French specialty, originating from the Alsace region. Known for their firm texture and characteristic snap, they are made from finely ground high-quality pork and lightly seasoned to preserve their subtle, savoury flavour.

These sausages are typically pre-cooked and smoked, giving them a mild, balanced taste and a smooth, juicy interior. Knacks are commonly served in hot dogs, paired with mustard and sauerkraut, or included in traditional Alsatian dishes. Their versatility also makes them suitable for quick meals or simple barbecues.

Basic cooking instructions:

1. Remove sausages from the fridge 15–20 minutes before cooking.
2. Bring a pot of water to a simmer (do not boil).
3. Place the Knacks sausages in the water and heat gently for 8–10 minutes until warmed through.
4. Alternatively, grill or pan-fry over medium heat for 6–8 minutes, turning occasionally until heated evenly and lightly browned.
5. Ensure sausages are heated through before serving.
