Sausage, Knacks (x5, Chilled)

Knacks sausages are a classic French specialty originating from the Alsace region. Renowned for their firm texture and characteristic snap, these sausages are made from finely ground, high-quality pork and lightly seasoned to preserve their subtle, savoury flavour.

Typically pre-cooked and smoked, Knacks have a mild, well-balanced taste and a smooth, juicy interior. They are commonly served in hot dogs, paired with mustard and sauerkraut, or included in traditional Alsatian dishes. Their versatility also makes them perfect for quick meals or simple barbecues.

Basic cooking instructions:

1. Remove sausages from the fridge 15–20 minutes before cooking.
2. Bring a pot of water to a gentle simmer (do not boil).
3. Place the Knacks sausages in the water and heat gently for 8–10 minutes until warmed through.
4. Alternatively, grill or pan-fry over medium heat for 6–8 minutes, turning occasionally until evenly heated and lightly browned.
5. Ensure sausages are thoroughly heated before serving.
6. Do not pierce the sausages to retain moisture and flavour.
